COMMEMORATION
Commemorating the First Major Battle of the American
Revolution, June 17, 1775

BUNKER HILL MONUMENT, CHARLESTOWN,
MASSACHUSETTS

Sponsored by the Bunker Hill Post 26 American Legion in cooperation with
the Bunker Hill Monument Association and the Boston National Historical
Park, under the auspices of the City of Boston.
BUNKER HILL DAY SCHEDULE

09:00 AM
- Ecumenical Service at St. Francis de Sales Church on Bunker
Hill, 313 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, MA.

09:45 AM - Procession from the church to the Bunker Hill Monument
Grounds.

10:00 AM - Annual Bunker Hill Day Commemorative/Patriotic Exercises.

11:30 AM (est.) The Sons of the American Revolution musket salute (The
Connecticut Line) in remembrance of the Heroes of Bunker Hill, followed by
wreath layings at the Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and
United States' Gates.
On Bunker Hill Day, June 17, 1997, Connecticut SAR
members (11th CT. Regt.) begin decorating the
Connecticut Gate at the Bunker Hill Monument in
Charlestown, MA.
Connecticut SAR Members (11th CT. Regt.) place a
wreath at the Connecticut Gate - Bunker Hill Day
Commemoration, June 17, 1998.
